LEDs are the most modern solution to the issue of lighting in aquariums and are increasingly effectively displacing outdated fluorescent lamps from the market. They provide light parameters perfectly suited to the needs of the tank, while consuming much less energy than traditional light sources. They also have a lifespan several times longer than fluorescent lamps, which provides additional savings due to the fact that they do not have to be replaced frequently.

Innovative self-regeneration system in LEDDY SLIM lighting

In order to extend the lifetime of lamps,  AQUAEL - a leading manufacturer of LED aquarium lighting  - introduces a novelty. In the latest LEDDY SLIM lamps, a proprietary, innovative self-regeneration system has been introduced.

In PLANT type lamps, the self-regeneration system is based on built-in ADDITIONAL LED diodes, which do not light up in the new lamp (this is a normal phenomenon, provided by the manufacturer). They turn on only when one of the basic diodes fails. In this way, the lamp retains its properties, and its light output and the parameters of the emitted light do not change.

Thanks to the new self-regeneration system, the LEDDY SLIM lamps will work even longer, providing ideal lighting conditions for observing the aquarium and for the growth of plants in it.
